M4b wont play on my MP3 player and it take 45 mins to convert and it erases the tags.

Thank you for this upload. I have been reading this series and really appreciate this. I hope it is as good as the others. Really appreciate the effort for your first upload I hope you do more.
For Bleem200. I use AVS4You and it only takes about 6mins for a convert but you need to realise that m4b is for the people that use apple or itunes (in other words quite popular). Those of us that use mp3 just have to suck it up and convert. Really I would say that about half of my uploads have been mp3 and half m4b. I am just happy to get the book.

Thank you. Any format is acceptable to me and all are appreciated. I used to convert the m4b to mp3, but discovered my bookreader doesn’t care what format is reads from. Actually, there are a number of reasons and advantages to m4b vs. mp3. Format Factory converts these in a couple minutes.

I wonder though why you converted your MP3 source files (which are already a conversion from the - regrettfully currently unavailable - best quality audible AAC original source) to M4B=AAC again? I see no upside to it; your second conversion just reduces the quality further. And all the users that don’t read the forum (and thus didn’t know about your source) but still need it as mp3 will convert it for a third time…

You can literally rename the files from m4b to m4a and they will work unless you have a really old or cheap mp3 player.

I download on android and use mortplayer no need to convert for maddiemum m4b is not just for Apple and iTunes that was years ago also same for converting no need with apps like mortplayer

No need to convert it literally change the file extension from .m4b TO .m4a voila. you now have an audio file!

I hope this is the last book in series. The first book “Going home” was the first post-apocalyptic book I ever read and I got hooked. I liked these series overall.
This book though was the weakest IMHO.
And Duke Fontaine lost many points with me due to “nukilar” pronunciation of the word “nuclear” (sorry, it’s my pet peeve as story is not about “nuking” something in a microwave), I cringed every time I heard him say that. Also, I felt Fontaine’s narration of this book wasn’t the best, he’s done much better job with first books.
