Bitrate on this is 77kbps was not an option in the list. Was ripped direct from audible using openaudible

That’s because 77kbps isn’t a standard bitrate, nor is it one that Audible uses. The books on there can be found in 128kbps, 64kbps, or 32kbps.
That probably means your ripper was the problem. Consider using inAudible. It’s vastly superior to other rippers for audible books, and is super easy to set up. More info in the forums..
