Okay, this is a great book (my opinion). Violence, cursing, solid story idea and line with some solid voice artist work too.
The two voice artists make the book even better and, the fact that sex is not the sol focus point for the entire book is a nice thing (sort of like a side dish and not the main course of the meal).
Marvin Knight is a good writer and, you can bank on him to provide some material that is unique and unusual (for certain new ideas).
More to come as I got time to up them.

Whenever he raises the pitch, the imbecile jarringly shouts/raises his voice. It’s really annoying if you’re trying to relax and suddenly the volume increases.

Re narration, Lady Jessica of Threet is so incredible, anyone paired with her just stinks the place up.
I have the weirdest crush on two of her voices and multiple characters she has voiced.

Not sure if it’s just a bad recording or if there’s another issue but the volume randomly drops off quite often. It’s getting annoying. Need to see if my reader has an equalizer option.

Only read the comment now and, went to turn off the equalizer on my player to see what you meant. It was recorded like that I’m afraid. Original copy (before ripping to up) and, the ripped version have the same issue.
You’d think you pay enough for the books you’d get proper quality but….hey, what can you do. I always have my equalizer turned on (just incase of stuff like this).
Strange though, how only a select handful of books I’ve ever listened to or ripped it has happened to…mostly it’ the original copy of the recording that has the issues.
Most book readers have an equalizer function, it differs from each one as to where it is.

For uneven loudness, you can try opening the file in audacity and run a normalizer pass.
